Hey People,
My credit card is £250 over the limit but on my internet banking it says the overdue amount is £113.I have just made a payment of £120 towards it. Will this be enough to stop them ringing me in the mean time until I can afford to get it back within the limit? at the end of April?
thanks for any advice guys and gals.

If I remember correctly, the overdue amount is only the amount that is currently considered part of the balance that should already have been paid, and doesn't usually include the latest charges/interest.
I'm sure they will be glad to see the £120, but I doubt they'll stop chasing you until they a) have some sort of plan on their system to bring it back under-limit, and b) will probably close the account anyway, so you'll have them chasing you for the full balance. Until they get you on a plan, and actually take notice of you when you say "I can't actually afford any more than that right now"0 -
Thanks TMoose. I'll actually answer next time then and tell them that this is all that I can afford.
Thanks for the advice.
