i have asked for welcome to take my car away since feb and now they are saying that i'm in arrears which i'm not. We have just been on the phone to them and they we aked for them to send us a statement of how much we have paid them and when. the lady said we will send them but just to let u know if we don't come to an agreement in 7 days it will the vol tem will be withdraw and it will go into repossion and it will cost more. they say that they have been trying to get through to us but can never even though we have an answer phone, the office we had to deal with us where telling us lies by saying that they were coming for the car but these calls were never recored so no back up for us.
the local office even said we were in arrears then worked out over the phone with us that we are not.
what do we do we are at a brick wall

What a set of cowboys these people are?

It sounds like they are stringing you along to try and convert the vt into a repossession - that means you end up owing a lot of money.

Did you send the vt letter and have they acknowledged receipt - did you keep a copy.

Are you able to deliver the car to the nearest welcome office together with a copy of your vt letter?

Do you have the usual ppi and gap insurances included?
Do you have a copy of the agreement?
Who arranged the finance? Did you visit one of Welcome's own forecourts or did you go to an independent forecourt?

Dont worry. Fortunately for you the lender has committed Hari Kari yet again and you will be able to successfully challenge this loan.

You are likely to end up with the car and no loan.

I was recently dealing with a case where the lender repossessed the vehicle and ended up having to give the car back and write off the loan balance. There are good judges in the court system after all.

    PM me for details.

No I would look to complain before they do take it. Do it right and you keep the car and lose the debt
