Sorry I can't answer but will be watching with interest for the responses. I am looking for a regular savings account for my children, and a new ISA for myself in a couple of weeks... never occurred to me to go through Topcashback.
I've just signed up with them for the holiday review thing - can anyone give me any tips on opening savings accounts via Topcashback???0 -
i was just about to look into this.
Was thinkin deposit £100 - wait 60 days for validation, then either continue with account or transfer back.
Although looking at my natwest isa my interest has plummeted from £9 to £3 since september!0 -
my thinking exactly. sounds like a cunning plan?Mortgage Start jun 2007 £88500 Outstanding Balance £51000

Maybe I am missing something so some help would be appreciated.
Firstly, do you get cashback on the notice account or is it just the Bond. I ask this as Quidco only seems to mention the 1 year bond.
Secondly and most imprortantly, who are firstsave? I have never heard of them.
I see on their website that they are part of FTN bank. Who is that and are we protected by the UK government should they go bust.
Apologies for maybe being over cautious, but in todays climate, who knows!0 -
According to the Savings Guide on MSE (http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/savings-accounts-best-interest) Firstsave is owned by First Bank of Nigeria, but it's UK-registered so protected by the Government should it go bust. I'm tempted, but like you, a bit unsure...£10 a day: March - August: £1653.54/£1840; September £92.86/£300NSD: April - August: 49 NSDs; September: 9/12101 in 1001 Project: 05/07/09 - 01/04/12 (8/101 completed)0
