The people who bought a flat in spain should be okay, it didnt sound like they was going to lose that much by selling it, and he did say drop it 27000 pounds, remember in spain they use euros when they bought they got a lot more for the pound, than when they sell now in euros.

One of these days people will eventually clear the !!!!!! out of their eyes and actually see what's going on, ie. pension funds, tax and everything else is just one great huge ponzi scheme. I've said on more occasions than I care to remember that the only place you should be puttings your savings is in cash 'under the mattress' but I get laughed out of the door every time with comments from the usual suspects telling me how many thousands of pounds of interest I'm 'losing'. Who's having the last laugh now then? Interest rates now in pence on savings and pensions rapidly becoming worthless. That's what happens when you pay into a corrupt system. Wakey-wakey folks, it's time to start finding hiding places for that cash...

Ta. I am in Wales ... and I don't have Sky. So I'll watch it later or on iplayer. I only have freeview (tight as a duck's ...)

We are in a strange, 'twilight zone' reception area, where we wake up to find we're in Wales one day and England the next. We'd been here a week before I found out that everyone here suffers, so had wasted much time doing all the 'man things,' (retuning etc) to no avail. In fact I'd delegated further research to tech-savvy daughter.

It's similar with local radio, where we hover between Radio Bristol & Radio Somerset. It can be entertaining and slightly disturbing when a male begins a sentence and a woman finishes it, especially if it makes some kind of sense:
"Avon & Somerset Police say that youngsters.... in Saltford have run twenty miles for Red Nose Day. They have been spitting on cars from the bridge on the Keynsham bypass...although it was a better result than last year when they were less fit."

Pensions are State mandated deferred incomes, not a 'treat'. When you've paid in 5% to 15% of your salary for years, then it's a right to get the pension that was promised. If the State has operated a Ponzi scheme since 1945, as many argue they have, then today's workers also need to know.

Is that why were always being told that we need to import more people into the country to work to pay for our pensions when we are old? How many people are they going to try and squeeze into this country before it bursts at the seams?

I am sick and tired of that word Ponzi
