Maybe better to post a new thread as I looked at the first post thinking that was this weekend's deal.... then I checked the date. This weekend's selection which was kindly given may get lost in this thread if it gets number of replies.

I popped into M&S in Westfield to get my boss a birthday cake and stumbled across the deal.
So I picked up a large chicken for £7.66, parmentier potatoes, fruit salad and a bottle of Chardonnay.
After the discount I paid 3p for the chicken:j
Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

Wow that's great, the biggest chicken I could find came in at £6.64, they were mostly around £5-6 so £8.96 is a bargain :T (do you think it was a mistake? :rotfl:)

    I got:
    medium chicken
    traditional roast veg
    profiteroles
    chardonnay

    total saving £8.94 = very pleased :D
    Addicted to MSE, I can't resist a bargain ;)

Small and medium chickens are in the deal, found the biggest medium 1.9kg in the poultry fridge, so don't forget to look there as well.

  • Marks and Spencers at London Colney did not have the Elderflower presse, instead they did two bottle of sparkling apple juice in the deal.I managed to get a £7.26 chicken, cesar vegetables and profiterole stack. Then popped next door to the big Sainsburys and got the Italian meal deal that serves 2 for a fiver so Im looking forward to a weekend with very little cooking involved.
