Smeg Integrated Fridge Freezer? Anyone Had Problems?

Hi there, i just wanted to put this out there and get some opinions...

I have an integrated SMEG fridge freezer and i seem to have had no luck with them!

The first one i had for under a year and it stopped working for a while and then decided to work all of a sudden and well froze everything in the fridge!!

I managed to get this replaced by SMEG on Fri 20/03 but the new one seems to be workin funny too!!

The bottom of the fridge freezes, all my veggies in the veg drawer are frozen and at the top the items seem to have condensation in them and are only a bit cool!

I wanted to know if any one else had similar problems as me and their experiences..

or it is just me?!!

oh and the temperature diall does not even turn to five, when the first one did? what is going on?

would apprecaite any help!

Sorry, Smeg always reminds me of Red Dwarf. Hope you get your fridge fixed.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

    Trust me, its faulty.
Contact your retailer and ask for a refund. A good retailer should then offer you a suitable replacement as they would not want to lose you custom.
If they refuse cite the sales of goods act clause "fit for purpose" which it appears it ain't.
If that don't help get in touch with Trading Standards and they will speak to retailer.
