In the newly installed B&M stores where the old Woolworths used to be (spotted in Bulwell, Nott'm and Hinckley, Leics) they sold these old-style hamburgers in the tin. Not sure what price they were, but I was tempted too!

There's quite a few unusual stuff there, plus all the recognisable branded stuff.
    Happy eating!:rotfl:

Got to ask, what do you DO with a hamburger in gravy? I thought hamburgers went in rolls with ketchup? Obviously something I missed out on growing up!!!

I drain the gravy and onions off, put them in water and cook in the microwave and put in a bun :)

I love Westlers hamburgers and the only other way to get them is to buy huge tins of 20's at the cash and carry which is a waste as i only eat them occasionally when i have the munchies after coming home from the pub :rotfl:

  • I've never heard of hamburgers in gravy either. Onions yes but gravy - sounds wierd!! Mind you, some people like gravy with chips and I think that is wierd too.

I've recently bought them from Tesco, Asda and Morrisons. They were about 50 or 60p. I have them with chips, potatoes or mash.

I used to have these as a kid - Goblin was the brand, I think. Delicious.
