    Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper I've been Money Tipped!
    Today was suppose to be a no spend day. But husband needed some trousers for an archery competition on sunday. And they have to be a certain shade of green.

    So

    £4 on charity shop trousers -husband paid for that.
    £3.40 in sainsburys but if we want pancakes tomorrow needed some eggs but got some reduced strawberries for tea. Yum

    That was the grand total. Did buy something else but had a voucher that was more than the product so got 1p back. And 3 p back on my boots card :rotfl:

    Think that is it today. Got to study tonight so not going anywhere.

    £7.13 on postage. Mostly covered by eBay, but probably a couple of quid of personal stuff, so I can't count it as a no-spend day :(

    today i did my clothes shop for my week away, i needed to get it as i have lost weight between december and now and checked the wardrobe and none of it fits i have dropped 3 dress sizes :confused: I gave myself a budget of £30 and these are the spends:
    £3.00 - 2 vest tops
    £4.00 - flower t shirt
    £4.00 - night shirt
    £3.00 - socks
    £2.00 - socks
    £8.00 - 10 knickers
    £3.00 - t shirt
    £3.00 - t shirt
    £6.00 - jumper

    plus
    £1.50 - thankyou card
    £1.00 - hair brush
    £1.67 - hair bands
    £1.97 - hair clip
    £1.32 - ebay - if the seller gets back to me??

    total = £36.00 clothes (£6 over :rolleyes:) and £7.46 on other stuff

    final total = £43.46 :eek:

    Spent a grand total of £151.27 today, £60.50 on car tax, £20.00 in Asda though that did include £13.00 for nicotine patches and an unexpected £77 at the vets for my cat, great start to the week, still it can only get better.

    £3 on lunch coz i was covering someone at work so even though i had taken a frozen meal to nuke...there was no microwave...i did try blowing on it but to no avail!!

    I'm concerned that your bottom half will be a bit cold ;)

    I've spent c.£6.50 today on groceries top-up for OH's packed lunch (plus he got custard tarts from the reduced items so I had an 11p doughnut :D)
