Even if you don't read the Times newspaper* it's worth signing up for this subscription offer if you live within the M25...you get 6 free cinema tickets to use at selected Vue, Odeon OR Picturehouse cinemas - tickets valid until 31/12/09 at the latest (depending which cinema chain you choose - all listed on the website): www.timesonline.co.uk/freedelivery
The only catch is that you must include The Sunday Times in your order - BUT you only pay for the cover price of the paper, delivery is free, it's up to you how many day(s) of the week you want to subscribe to, and you can cancel your subscription on as little as 24 hours' notice by phone.
So, technically, you could sign up and subscribe to only receive the Sunday Times (£2 per issue) - keep the subscription for a month (in order to qualify for the free cinema tickets, plus payment is taken monthly in advance by Direct Debit but you only pay for copies you have received) and then cancel!
Living within the M25 means cinema ain't cheap (!) so this is worth it as it works out at a cost to you of roughly £8 for the subscription (as described above) - which would probably gain you ONE entry to the cinema - with this offer you get FIVE more!
Lovely way to relax in bed on a Sunday morning, with a newspaper delivered to your door by 7am (their commitment to subscribers), and 6 cinema tickets winging their way to you!
I've not actually signed up as yet (but will be doing so!) - so any issues that come up for anyone that does, please feed back here. Not sure how long this offer is running for, so best to get in quick.
Happy reading/film-viewing!

*and if you don't read the Times, why not give your paper to someone who does?! You still get to keep the cinema tickets (unless you are an exceptionally generous sort!).
Although this is a great offer, please also think about our environment and recycle any unwanted newspapers responsibly!!!

Hey there, I have just gone onto the Sunday Times web link and it all seems to concern cinemas in London and not M25. How do I go about logging onto the cinema group of choice that is not in London(tis a little far to travel to watch a film)... I do get confused easily so this could be me!!

Hi estorianna - sorry if my post wasn't very clear (new to MSE!), but the cinemas available in the offer are London based, but they do include areas such as Croydon, Acton, Uxbridge, Kingston, Epsom and Richmond - which are more on the outskirts of London - as well as more Central venues such as Islington, Holloway, Wardour Street (Soho area).
The subscription offer is only available to those living within the M25 area (for delivery purposes, I guess), which is why I specified M25 in my original post. Hope this works out for you - do you ever visit the London area for nights out or socialising, as that could be an option??
