F&F + Fincial Year End

I was looking at the companies house webite and remembered something in another thread that made me think about this.
Is a company more likely to accept F&F offers near the end of their financial year to boost their profit or reduce their amount of debt owed? In companies house, it lists "Last Accounts Made Up To" which should be the end of the financial year for that company.
Just wondered if anyone had any experience of them accepting at certain times of the year when they had not done so before.
I always thought that the new financial year started on 1st April, but seems it's different times of the year. Could this possibly influence whether agreement could be made?

The new financial year starts on 6 April, though companies can pick any date to start the financial year for their own accounts.0

topbadger is right many companies use different financial years in house.
I doubt that they would accept a F+F any more or less just because the budget year end is coming up. The people who process the offers will have guidelines set down on what they can accept or not. Mostly they wont be far enough up the chain to know whats going on in the company finances.0
