Quantum of Solace DVD £6.98 at Amazon

Just thought I'd let you know Amazon are copying Tescos they've reduced their DVD to £6.98 but I'm guessing it will only be this price for a couple of days.

  • I'm desparate to see this, is it a good film? It's a good price though :)
  • We pre-ordered the DVD from Amazon, at £12.98; expecting a price reduction, I checked yesterday and I was surprised to find that Amazon no longer honour their "price guarantee" unless the pre-ordered item is specifically marked as price guaranteed.
    If you are in the same situation, you have two options;
    (1) return the goods for a refund, and either repurchase from Amazon or from Tesco.
    (2) Phone up Amazon's customer help line and make a nuisance of yourself until they agree to give you a gift voucher for a future purchase - which is what we did.
    Yes, it is well worth a watch at this price - and there are the usual extras on the second DVD that we haven't got around to yet.

    Thanks! I went to get it from Tesco this afternoon, but they'd ran out, so I've ordered from Amazon instead. Cue one happy husband!
