Trailer Hire Business?

Hi my husband is thinking of starting a sort of trailer hire business, he would hire out a bike/quad trailer for between £25-40 a day roughly, havent worked the rates out yet, also he would ask for a deposit to cover damage plus we need some sort of proof of address, this is just a rough outlay at the moment of what we are thinking of but we were wondering if we will need any type of insurance to cover trailer or any other forms, also does anyone think this would be viable
We are not looking to make Thousands, just a few quid a week to help with bills and such (if we could make thousands i wouldnt complain though!!:D )
