Just letting my pastry rest in the fridge for a bit then I'll be finishing my apple pies to take to the party at SIL's house tonight. Being lazy this afternoon and apple pie and last night's Grays anatomy is about all I'm doing before the school run!
ZCC...pop back in soon just to say hello won't you? we'll miss you.
Think I'll go and do the apple pies now then they can go in the oven before the school run.
What soup are you making freedom2b?0 -

One load of washing done. Did the hokey cokey on the line between the sun and the rain and now I've given up and hung it up indoors. Obviously the sun is out again now....
Not one of my favourite activities - I plumped for indoors and we have only had a couple of spots of rain.
I managed to clear to whole car loads (4x4) of stuff from Nan's house with the help of a friend. Most to the charity shop, couple of boxes for school for the tombola, a few things to bring home and some bottles of booze for my friend's hubbie.
This weekend I aim to get the furniture listed on ebay/freecycle.
Rose - I'm ok thanks just had a moment of of my I have so much to do and so little time to do it in this morning.
I'm just having a cuppa then I'm going to do an hour of tidying my own home so at least the hoover can be pushed around by a child later.
Have also managed to stip our bed and linen in the WM.
Hope all is ok - not read the last page yet, hugs for all.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Still not moved off the chair to do that apple pie yet. Maybe I'll wait now until after school.0 -

Toots - Hope you are having a good afternoon out. I have finished Thursdays list.
ZCC - hope to see you beck soon.
Dusty - are you feeling any better? - cross posted, so I can see that you are. I prefer facebook too.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Polly/Hex I'm feeling much calmer now thanks. There is still lots to do but I was amazed at how much we did in 2 hours and having a friend really helped. A different really good friend is helping Monday. It is the furniture that is stressing me - it is obviously big and has been treasured for 60 years but is probably not wanted much these days - I will get the ebay/freecycle done this weekend and then see what happens from there.
Off to a manic tidy in a minute. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
