    Hmm, this looks like I'm really a senior citizen here, no wonder I don't have the energy to keep up with you lot! Still I have to shift up a gear today - have just returned from nearly three weeks in Perth, WA, so jetlagged, and my sister and her husband are coming to stay tomorrow, so I need to do a general tidy up everywhere today - but it'll have to be at a gentle pace!!! And it's a lot colder here than there too!!!

    Woo, no kids here!

    *puts feet up* :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Other quick query from me, if you accidentally snap off the washing machine door handle (I swear, these sheets just don't want washed!) is it terminal? The machine has been in the house since I moved in 5 years ago, and I don't know how old it was prior to this, so am thinking I might just have to suck it up and buy another one. Ideas please!! I would rather save for it than buy a new one on my credit card...

    Good morning all - this is a good game.

    Today I have done a load of washing, emptied dishwasher. Working v hard this week but today's my day off. I'm off to a garden with afternoon tea attached with my Mum - I've got a feeling we're going to get watered ...

    Will try to do some decluttering before I go, especially visitor's room. House not too bad, fitted a bit of flying in between work this week

    Not necessary to buy a new machine. If you go to a scrap merchants you should be able to get a cheap replacement door. Or there will be some little local man who does washing machine repairs as a side line & is nice & cheap - parts & labour only - no call out fees. My door catch goes regularly:mad: Hotpoint charge £100+, the man does it for £50!!

    Todays list is up.. I had to deal with a friend and her OH having a rather major domestic while I was at their house with my children :eek:

    I ended up bringing her and her 2 back to my house.. ignoring the children and dealing with her wailing on me.. then I took them back home.. made her get the children into bed and have some food and had words with her and her OH and finally came home.. and crashed in bed!!

    This morning I have a blinding headache and have had a drink already and have a cuppa ready to neck but oh.. my poor head!!!

    I'll find some drugs I think otherwise I'll never get the children to school!
