Weekly Flylady Thread 23rd March 2009

  • Hello everyone.

Sorry I've not been able to keep up with the thread but I have been very busy with my art work and flying has been somewhat neglected. I've kept up with the bathroom and loos and the kitchen; so the house is hygenic at least even if a bit untidy. The washing is all done and I have no ironing either. I intend to give the areas that need it a good going over at the weekend.

I'll be star collecting when I've got a bit more time but when I have the odd 5mins or so I am reading a bit of the thread so that I don't lose touch.

Toots can I have a GARDENING star :p Have done loads of flying out there!! Weeding, sweeping and dividing plants, had to get the saw to one of them and now have three where there was one that wouldn`t flower, hope I haven`t killed it :o Time will tell!!

Love and hugs to all. Hope to catch up later but doubtful because of the kids and DH... Need a laptop!!

My HHI became an hour - I've gone from "crinkly betty" to "addicted ironer" in 3 weeks :D .

Love the bed, Jo - great bargain!! It will look stunning. ETA - take it easy on the build!! It'll be worth it.

I bought a bed last year - from our local recycling centre! It was a beautiful brass bed frame, with china bed knobs....picked it up for £13 - had it looked at by our local auction house, who valued it at.......£3,000   ..... I contacted the recycling centre, to let whoever left it there know, but they don't keep details. I tried!

My family now call me Stig (of the dump) - I hope they are referring to my recycling shopping habits, and not the state of my house :rotfl: .

Off to check list, and tick something else off!!
:A FLY FIRST, KNIT LATER :A

Sarahshattered - brilliant news about no more audiology appointments. My daughter went through the grommet/hearing/infection stage and i remember how pleased I was when she was signed off!

DS managed two hours at school before being sent home. He's been of Monday and Tuesday too. He's not actually been sick but keeps getting stomach cramps so I don't know if it's brewing or he's just a bit off colour. I've just cheered him up though...he adores the beano and I found the 1997 annual in the charity shop for 29p. That will keep him happy for a few hours as he devours them!

Not got much done today flying wise so i'll go and have a look at yesterday and today's lists. I will do some flying, I will do some flying! xx
