I can't do anymore. Am going to watch Inspector Morse.

I did online banking, put away dry washing up and dry washing. And I declutterd the LR floor as it got very messy last night. Not much I know, but am so tired today! I can't believe how awful I feel. Desperate to go back to bed, might have to give in to it soon.

Oh and the washing machine is ready to go, just need to turn it on. And it seems we do have warmish water, not sure if that means the boiler is working or not.

Great going Summermoon! See, it wasn't that bad :D My "hiding place" in the kitchen is the oven! Or microwave! People look in cupboards for coffee, etc, but guests never think of opening the oven to check.....ooops, secret's out!!

Rosepink, well done! We all have off days (I slept through mine yesterday!) but they will pass....just do what you can.

Mummy2mygirls - horrid when you have to get the washing back in straight after!! I can't even get mine out today - blowing an absolute gale - good for drying, but even better for flying off! My whirly may become a helicopter!!

    Pigpen, howd'youdo??

    In my HHC I:

    Decluttered myself :D
    Cleaned bath, shower, sink, loo, tiles & mirror;
Binbag dance - and put out for bin men (the bag, that it :rotfl: - keep the thread clean, ladies & gents!)
Watered primroses as they suffered during the lovely weather.....

I felt v lazy before, but I put on my "lace up shoes" and it worked!

Will finish my :coffee: then probably do another HHC 12-12.30....will also find list and update.

Just had a busy few days and it's caught up with me. Thanks, will take it easy. It's annoying as today is really the only day this week I can get anything done, altho I might be able to do a bit on Friday. At least the place isn't TOO bad!

    Night night everyone!

  • What a difference a decent customer service contact makes!!!

I have just phoned my credit card company as there were 2 amounts on my account that I didn't know what they were. One was a £5 charge for a disputed amount and one was a £6.06 'adjustment'.
spoke to 1 guy, very stroppy, by the book, said because they hadn't sorted out the dispute and I had done it myself then there wasn't a dispute and they had to charge me???:confused::confused:
Couldn't tell me what the 'adjustment' was, said I would have to wait for my next statement and call back then...         Asked to speak to someone else and he put me through - PHONE GOES DEAD!!!

Phone up again, speak to a lovely lady who can see that I have been in touch re dispute, sorts it out and gets £5 re-credited. Finds out what the £6.06 is for - interest on the disputed amount, can see that I shouldn't have paid them and arranges for that to be refunded too... why can't everyone be as helpful just by reading the notes on my account... :A :A :A

So flying update is, lots done with phone calls and such like, will post my list later when I have done more, off to my mums now (been meaning to go for about an hour...:o ) see you soon.
