    Right just got in from work early so have an hour before I have to go and collect my son from childminder.......will see how much I can get done......

    Magnificent Monday - Living room, hall, stairs and porch! ALL DONE!


    Twinkly Tuesday - Kitchen and dining room
    Level One
    [strike]Clear and wipe worksurfaces[/strike]
    [strike]Scrub down the frontf of units and large appliances[/strike]
    Level Two
    [strike]Wipe and replace small appliances[/strike]
    [STRIKE]Clean oven and hob[/STRIKE]
    Wash windows and sills
    Level Three
    [strike]Wipe the table and chairs... clean cloth if necessary[/strike]
    Sweep and mop the floor
    [STRIKE]Degunge the fridge![/STRIKE]
    Extras
    1. Thoroughly clean the cupboard under the sink!
    2. Run the WM's and DW's through a clean cycle
    3. Clean all the filters and door seals etc
    4. [strike]Wipe the back door down.. inside.. and out!![/strike](dont have one:-)

    Sort out Linen Cupboard

    Sort through ALL clothes
    Build shelves in garage!
    Sort out boxes of shoes!!
    EBAY JIMMY CHOOS!! Size 5.5
    Buy little one new trainers
    Look for a Shoe Rack (part of the 'doesnt have a place to go problem')

    Woo hoo - am very pleased with my progress today - I emptied two massive boxes that were in the living room and have filed/shredded as appropriate. :T Also filed and shredded another two massive piles which have been collecting for me to sort out (ive come accross these as i have decluttered other areas! :rolleyes: )

    There is only one more box to go which is lurking in the spare room somewhere, but will tackle that another day.

    Am off into the kitchen to sneak up on either the condiments/herbs & spices or the cupboard under the sink........ cant decide..... will see what happens when i get there......

    Im sorry i havent caught up with the thread, am on a roll and dont want to get distracted, so much love n hugs for everyone :D

    Yes, I did work experience in a restaurant. Wash them in really hot water, and give them a polish with a clean tea towel. They will be really sparkly. Night Emily

    Did you use any washing-up liquid?

    Emily when I used to work in a restaurant the glasses went through the dishwasher then once they were dry then polished....this was done holding the glass over a jug of boiling water and then polished with a tea towel once it was all steamy inside the glass.....hope that makes sense.......I remember it so well as when I was heavily pregnant I had the job to polish all the glasses.

    The cutlery was done the same way except the water had vinegar in it.
