Storage - who's cheapest?

I am moving house this Sunday (a week today!) and need to take out storage.

I don't have furniture, just a number of boxes with belongings I need to store.

There are a lot of different storage companies from my understanding.

Who's cheapest?

Who offers the best introductory deals?

I'm based in Coulsdon, Surrey however would look at storing my stuff as central as possible (however more concerned about the price than central location).

Do the storage chains offer the same price regardless of which branch of theirs you use?

Good / bad experiences?

Minimium contracts apply?

If you value what is in the boxes then you should be looking for the safest, not the cheapest.

In my last job I knew a lot of people who moved around the world a lot, and they all have tales of storing stuff while abroad and coming back to find some of it missing.
