I have used both Tesco and Sainsburys. Sainsburys always have fewer replacement products and I find their website very user friendly.
Both deliveries on time. Smart polite drivers

I've used all of them, Sainsburys are my favourite as they seem to be more friendly and sometimes give you sample products to try. However when I've had a problem with asda or tesco deliveries (i.e. broken eggs or product missing) they have always refunded me promtly. Never had a problem with any of them being late, so I can recommend them all. Just go with the one you perfer the food/prices at.

P.S. I find Asda's site a little less user friendly though, but once you have your usuals it speeds everything up. Asda price match replacement products though which is really good, so you don't get lumbered with a really expensive replacement

    Hi

Ocado do a delivery service as well so that makes 4 to compare.

I use www.mySupermarket.co.uk to compare prices once I have done a shop and then choose the cheapest. They also show the offers in each store.

You can also get £4.00 cashback on the first use of mysupermarket with topcashback and they show you substitutes to save money and calories.

Ocado have a 15% code as well for a first shop.

I've used Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury. Used Sainsbury only once. Asked for 3 bananas, they sent me 3 kilos!!
Use Tesco and Asda in turn. Prefer Tesco's website though, Asda is a bit confusing.

  • I regularly use Tesco and have used Asda several times as well. This week used Sainsbury's for the first time and was very impressed. Firstly their delivery slots are hourly, secondly any substitutes and short life items are placed in blue carrier bags so you can check you are happy with them whilst the driver is still there and thirdly if they are late they will hand you a £10.00 voucher there and then. I will be using Sainsbury's for most of my home deliveries from now on.

I used asda over the weekend and items i ordered and paid for were missing. I called customer service 3 times on the day to be told somebody would get back to me but this didnt happen, i called agaln 2 days later and had the cash value credited back onto my card (which will take 7-10 days)and then had to go out and buy the items which was all of the frozen food that i ordered was again told a customer service manager would call me back which hasnt happened. Will never use them again, never had problems with tesco though
  • I've had 2 un satisfactory (shall we say), home deliveries from Asda.(the last 2!). I just received my delivery from Sainsbury's. He arrived 1/2 hr early and I couldn't fault their service.:D
