Definatly lots of red, corsets, feathers, diamonds. Maybe burlesque dancers?

oohh yes, how fab!!! It's very burlesque almost so this sounds fab, think feathers, fans, corsets and stockings and suspenders etc. Really luscious fabrics and big over the top table decs, how about bird cages? For your jewellery think chokers, velvet or mock jet!!! Here's some ideas:

You could even incorporate the music from the film on your big day, or serve your guest absinthe, get the film and lift ideas from it. There was an episode of 'don't tell the bride' where the groom did a moulin rouge theme - you might be able to find it online somewhere.
The only things I remember was that the table decs were old wine bottles filled with green water and a label stuck on (made old with tea!) saying absinthe. Can't remember if they then used them as candle holders...
The only other thing was they had can can dancers as entertainment.0 -
