Price hikes for online shopping

I have just had my Asda shopping delivered and noticed they have charged me 3.78 /kg for green seedless grapes even though on my confirmation email they were only 2.47/kg. I telephoned them and they claim there may be price fluctuations in between the order date (yesterday?) and the delivery date. I also telephoned my local store and they are only charging 2.47/kg today. I'm not sure if this is common practice but I now know that I need to cross check everything I buy online in case they decide to charge me an extre 50% on top of what I think I am paying!!! I have emailed them for their comments!
