One in central London. I want to know where and the name of one. I never been to an ice cream parlour before. What are the prices like?
Any recommendations?

There was a great one in the bottom of Harrods (or could have been Selfridges), I used to go with my friend when I was a young teen, so it can't have been that expensive.
There also used to be one in Sydenham, but I think that is long gone.
I don't know of any others.0 -
Not so Money Saving but there is an amazing 1950's style ice cream parlour at Fortnum and Mason.
Sundaes are around £11.

Go to Marine Ices in Chalk Farm- i cant recommend it enough. Italian owned home made ice cream to die for, and if you sit in the pizzas are great! They do everything from take away cones to knickerblocker glory and the works. I have been going since i was a babe in arms and now take my own kids. Last time i went- single cone £1.30 and more complicated ice creams from £4 upwards but best ice cream in the world.

Haagen Dazs is over-rated and the prices a rip off. If you're ever in the east end I can recommend Rossi's on Barkingside High Street.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Definitely my pick of the bunch
Marine Ices
8 Haverstock Hill, NW3 (020 7482 9003).
Morelli’s
Harrods ground floor, 87-135 Brompton Rd, SW1 (020 7893 8959).
Scoop (my favourite but not what you would call a parlour as a lack of seats)
40 Shorts Gardens, WC2 (020 7240 7086).0 -
