usually you get the chance to quickly speak to the OR (if your having any problems creditor hassles etc) after this you'll get a pack through the post with a few bits & bobs you need to fill in & send back.....shortly after that you'll get an appt for an interviewWe all die. I had a female OR when I went BR at Nottingham last year - I've heard from F G O'Hare since regarding my ED and all in all, I must say the entire Nottingham OR's and staff seem very nice and friendly.
I think there were even a couple of jokes during my phone interview, it wasn't half as bad as I expected it to be.

Hiya my OR is Nottingham and is brilliant - yea i had a miserable man on the initial call but when I had the interview it was a woman and she was totally great and all my dealings with them so far has been great - so fingers crossed for you that you have the same experience
