    I applaud your constructive post.

    It tells us so much.

    Do you actually think that people on variable repayment mortgages have not benefited from interest reductions too?

    I'd rather be on a high fixed rate repayment, knowing that my debt will be NIL at the end of the term, than on a low rate interest only taking no action to repay the capital balance.

    I know I wish I was on a variable rate repayment and not interest only. We still have to pay the money back at the end of the mortgage term and the endowment policies are useless made worse by the interest rate drop!

    Yes I am - payment down nearly £400 pm. :j But I know this is only going to be for a short period of time.

    Look my friend, if you read my post you would see I meant at the moment, not at the end of their term but at the moment, I asked if they're enjoying having the extra cash at the moment

    I don't think its "Interest only" that are "loving it", but base rate trackers that have seen a big fall in monthly payments.

    Of course combining interest only with a tracker is a winning ticket.:)
