got it all and want more

RBS cancelled their order for a private jet, bankers having scandalous bonuses, government minsters getting ridiculous allowances, tax havens run by exectuvie to further their own end, the list of bad choices made by some is getting longer and is breath taking in its audacity. But where will l it all end? When will the conscience of these people get the better of them and realise that there time is up and start giving rather than taking.

This recession has to be the time that the British public really do sit up and take notice of who gets what, who pays for it and how many hours work is actually done.

If we dont learn from this and make sure that those in positions of "power" are answerable to us we would have lost a huge opportunity.

How many of us have had free shares or bought shares in companies and only now are taking notice as to how executives are paid for not performing. While watching our money disappear?

Blair and Brown have allegedly been in control of the country for years and never noticed how bad things were getting? They are both to blame, they grin, they look worried when the occasion calls for it, but they knew how things were going. Pointing the finger at the bonuses of exectutives is spin to take our minds off the real culprits.

Not everyone has borrowed money they cant pay back, but we are all suffering from this. Blir and Brown knew what was happening, they were supposed to be in control, no use them blaming anyone else but themselves. They knew people were offered 125% mortgages, had credit cards sent to their homes unsolicited. They knew and chose to look the other way so that people had the feel good factor, no thought for the future.

Same goes for the obscene amounts being thrown into banks, I wonder how many times since that decision was made Brown has realised what a catastrophic waste of public money that was. What a shame this government was so forward thinking that they actually put money into make our society a great place, with good schools, good teachers, good hospitals and health care. If a proportion of what is being thrown at Blair/Browns mistakes had been available before this recession hit us, we could be a wel educated, healthy, hardworking nation.

The feel good factor has well and truly left us! Brown will, like Blair, move on one day, he will do the rounds of after dinner speaking, books, money making little ventures.

I'm alright Jack!

It doesnt matter who is in, but we are stuffed and it will be a long time before any of us feel any better.

I suppose after he leaves office, Brown may have his wings clipped, as, apparently you cant make money from crime. And what has happened since he has been in charge of the purse strings is most definitely a crime.

Only when they hear the clatter of the tumbrils coming to take them away.
