My local Asda had the best of Mrs Beetons on the 2 for £3 shelf today. They had kitchen garden, easy everyday cooking and, jam and preserves.

I've recently bought the 'Cakes & Baking', 'Easy Everyday Cooking', 'Entertaining' and 'Puddings & Desserts' in my local one. Excellent vfm - and just about as 'Old-style' as you can get

They are slightly updated for today's tastes/ovens from the 1970 version that I used to have - but basically they're the same. 0
