How to finance a new HD TV by Selling old Jewellery

Hi
I would like to buy a new tv as our old 20inch CRT model is on its last legs. Have no savings to speak and do not ofcourse want to use credit. However my husband did inherit some gold from his late father. I cannot read the very small marks on it to see what type it is, I believe it was bought in Saudi and weighs approx 72grams. Does anyone know a turstworthy way of converting it into cash? Is it wise to use internet sites for such a transaction?

I think it would be best to go to a shop,
The cash converter style shops seem to have lots of signs up,
Not sure about price though sorry0 -

Careful with which online scrap gold buyers you choose. They do all offer more money than local jewellers, cash converters or pawnbrokers though.0
