Views on the future of sterling

Hello,
Not sure if this is the right forum; if not, please let me know.
I expect to be offered a certain amount of Euros (a few thousand) next month and my original intention has been to bring it back to the UK, make it into sterling and deposit it in a tax-free account (ISA). However, I have noticed that some commentators argue that the sterling is expected to drop in relation to Euro in the coming months. Is this a commonly shared view? Would it make sense to keep the money in Euros for the time being?
Any views or ideas will be welcome.
Thank you,
SM

It has already dropped!!
This time last year £ was about 1.30 Euro now its about 1.03
Will it drop any further who really knows?
If you kept the money in Euros what would you do with them? Do you need the money?0 -
It would be kept at a bank abroad at a low interest rate. I do not need it urgently - as I said it, if made into sterling, it would go into a 1-yr fixed rate ISA.0

Work out how many Euros you would have had last year and compare to now and say to yourself whether this is a good deal or not?
Sometime trying to be too clever and outhink the markets can lead to disaster.0 -
Well, it is obvious that now the amount in Euros is equivalent to a higher amount in sterling compared to 1 yr ago. The deal is obviously good. The question is: should I expect the sterling to fall further than now?0
