Having read all about the prima iron I went ahead and bought one and like everyone says it's a lot quicker than my old one but......where do I keep it? the old one hung on a hook with the ironing board. So where do you keep yours?0

But I think that a lot of this stuff is coming via Kwik Save........
There is a huge shake up going on at the moment and apparently Somerfield will not be doing electricals much in the future bar the odd special offer.0 -
Managed to get an iron today - I emailed Cust serv on Somerfield website and asked them to track one down for me...there was a deep fat fryer there in Harpenden if anyone is interested - apparently all local Somerfields have sent their electrical goods to Chelmsford to be sold off centrally.0

Seems like Somerfield got a new managing director, who decided on a different strategy, closed the Kwiksave HO in North Wales, converted some shops to Somerfield, and sold the rest, tho one of our two seems in limbo just this week, used to open till 8 but is now closed when I pass just after 6.
Strange thing, when looking at my credit card statements, purchases at the one converted to Somerfield come up with the address of the closed Kwiksave one.
The Kwiksave emails stopped around a month ago and the website has changed this week
HTHs dc
EDIT, discovered our closing Kwiksave is to become a Nettoac's lovechild0 -
Got mine today - brilliant. My mum is just off to get her's!
To think I was thinking of spending £100 on one!! :T0 -
i've been to 3 local kwik save stores in the middlesbrough area and cant find these anywhere - are they definately still available?
Also do they generate the steam in the base unit or does this just pump water to the iron and the steam is produced there instead? i got one of the latter ones from another thread on here and found it useless as it was just like a normal iron except that it could hold more water and seemed to get lots of water on the clothes.0
