Zooplus?

Have any of you used Zooplus? http://www.zooplus.co.uk

They are a German pet supplies company who offer very good prices on the usual UK dog food brands including premium ones like Hills and Nutro. Shipping is free for orders over £29 otherwise it is a seemingly reasonable £2.90. First time customers get a £3 welcome discount.

I just placed my first order for a 15kg bag of Nutro food and some cans. So far all seems to be going well, I have been notified that the goods have been shipped via DHL and have a tracking number.

The only thing that causes me a little trouble is that the site is priced in £ but the acknowledgement email I received quoted prices in €. The exchange rate seemed reasonable but I won't place another order until I'm sure exactly what I have been billed.

So what are other people's experience with Zooplus?

Mike

  • Hi
I used them to buy dry cat food and a litter tray...
It took about 12 days to arrive which I hadn’t anticipated and had to run out to buy a small bag of food from the shops.
Apart from that very good. prices slightly cheaper elsewhere cant remember the name at the moment but I could find out.
I did like the 10% off voucher for the first order.
My friend had also used them subsequently and had a positive experience.

You are lucky. My local stores all charge RRP, although Nutro do keep sending me £2.50 off vouchers for the puppy's food.
