I'm trying to track down a map of the the old Northern Ireland rail system.
I've found the northern section
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:NCCmap1932.svg
but I can't find a map of the southern section. Can anyone help?
Also found this (timetable from 1922)
http://www.cdrrl.com/Documents/CDRtimetables/cdrtt1922d.pdf
Got it!

Have you tried the railway museum in Downpatrick? The stupid things you do, you regret... if you have any sense, and if you don't regret them, maybe you're stupid. - Katharine Hepburn0

Wow, that from 1906 is really cool. It is hard to imagine being able to travel by train to all those towns in NI. Such a shame the rail network now is so limited (and overpriced on a moneysaving point of view!)0 -
chunter, thanks for the maps they are fantastic. Can't believe there were so many railway lines in the past, let's hope many of them can be restored. Whoever invented the automobile should've been shot:rotfl:
For those who may be interested there's a Railway museum in Whitehead. From that site you can book return excursions from Whitehead to Dublin on steam engines. :T0
