LG Netbook only £229.98 delivered

Cheap LG Netbook for only £229.98 delivered:

Supposed to be around the £300 mark, so good price for a decent spec Netbook with Windows XP. Only downsides I can see are no Bluetooth (but can get a dongle for a couple of quid), and a very basic battery (only around an hour and a half). These would cost an extra £80 or so with a Samsung NC10. So horses for courses.

For me, this Dell Inspiron Mini 9 is much better value - £188 delivered with the 10% discount code! (M8BX1P0J$8PRDV)

It runs Linux rather than XP, but has a whopping 2GB of RAM. & a 4-cell battery.

Again, horses for courses, as the Dell's screen is an inch smaller, doesn't provide the massive 160GB HDD which some people want for storage and the webcam is lower res at 0.3M instaed of 1.3M. 2GB RAM on the Dell is good though, given that the LG is not actually upgradable above the 1GB it comes with. Win XP is usually worth an extra £30-40, and for me it's got to be Windows every time, but that's a personal preference.
