I know Rachie, I just looked at the haven site for the break I've booked and it's nearly £500! For 3 nights in may!! They are back at school on the monday too!

They only had 2 expensive types of accommodation left though, hmmmm ....

  • Thanks to everyone who posted the code words  Delighted to report that I got first choice of dates & park, which has never happened before! We're off to Haven Burnham-on-Sea in July for a proper beach holiday - kids will be soooo excited when I tell them tomorrow :j

Just checked Haven website & that weekend is £333  I always end up taking most of my own food & not paying for the linen (although it is often still left in the rooms) so it does make it a cheap'ish holiday. I've always been really lucky & not had a problem with any basic accomodation either (or maybe I just have low standards ) but I always take the cleaning stuff just in case!

Hope you all get the dates & parks you want!
& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin :D

there is one here for less than £15, it also says currently online.

    £14.99 BIN.

This is certainly a lot cheaper than the last time when we were all paying £35 on ebay :)

Mind you, it's more difficult to get the dates and parks you want this time - last time we were getting butlins.

    Ummmmm ...

I booked without reading - does anyone know if there are extra charges for the may holidays? All it said was that they'd be in luxury accommodation. Will it cost extra, anyone know?

Justkeepswimming - I love your name and avatar :)

My eldest says I'm dory because I scream like her when I'm on rollercoasters lol!

I told my 3 year old about the holiday before he went to sleep and he is already planning what to pack - he is ever so excited! Train journey looks like 5 hours unfortunately lol!

I hope your children are as thrilled as my little one :)

That's really kind of you kazzer and clairabella - especially as you could have sold them on ebay :)

I am waiting to hear back from my mum, she has offered her code to a friend from work, but if that friend doesn't need it she says I can offer it on here. Mum is sharing my caravan so her code is spare. I'll report back, but it might not be until morning.
