Welcome Finance TROUBLE!!
Hi
Am hoping someone might be able to help with some advice..?! AM having trouble with WFS for "Make good costs" having done a voluntary termination in January. It's a very long story (as it seems it usually is with WFS!) but ultimately they want £800+ from me to cover a couple of scratches on the bodywork, this is despite the fact the scratches were on the car when I bought it. It didn't come from their showrooms, it was brokered through a separate company. I've been battling this out with them for over two months. WFS are hopeless at getting back to me and I'm fast losing the will to live!! TO top all this, they've just marked my credit file for the month of Feb 09 as 1 month's late payment (presumably as they've not got the £800 out of me). Am not a happy bunny as I have an impeccable payment history with them for the last 3 years... Please , please, please can anyone offer me some advice? Thanks very much, L

one complaint letter to welcome finance detailing complaint plus asking them to rectify credit score with all credit reference agencies
if you don't like their answer or you don't receive an answer to the complaint within 8 weeks, complaint to the Financial Ombudsman.

:T Thanks for that, it's encouraging to know that I'm not completely off track! L0 -
LRH as you've een told, the FOS is your best bet regarding this. They're inundated with complaints about Welcome already, so you won't need to worry about your complaint being overlooked.0
