Re-assessment when case is in Newcastle?

Hi

DH has had a reduction in his wages, and next week he'll get the 5th payslip which we then need to send off for the re-assessment. However, his case is stuck in Newcastle. Can they still do a proper re-assessment? When DH phoned them a few weeks ago they told him they could do it manually. Will they be able to see that we have a child together? Or will we need to 'remind' them in the letter?

Thanks for any help.

I would send the wage slips with a covering letter stating your current position, ie, qualifying children in your household etc. I would take a copy of everything before you send it, recorded delivery and then phone to make sure they've received it and again reiterate the up to date position.

In my experience, which was computerised not manual, they still managed to get it hopelessly wrong.

    Good luck.

Computers are reliant upon people entering the correct data, something which I too have found some csa staff are hopeless at.
