Regarding the SOA. Good for you. Then people can help you more.just the anxiety underneath is debilitating.
As for it being an 'excuse'. Only if other people tell you it is. I don't have any time for people who do for example, I'd rather expend myself on more constructive things in life like helping people. If someone has a disability then, conversely, others who have not must also appreciate that life for some is not and cannot be as easily lived as someone who is abled bodied. There are many barriers, shall we say, obstacles. Or can be. And it's easy for someone who isn't to say 'well, have you done this and that'. When they don't know the full picture. Not everyone gets the support they should get, some don't even get any I am sad to say. Depends where you live, what resources your NHS service has locally. So, not an excuse, you have an illness and it's easy for anyone to say those things to you about coping. Which I would never do BTW. Because I am not like that. However, I do try to get people to think more about their situation, and what choices they have to make in order to go forwards. Motivatation you may call it. Because no one is going to do it for you ultimately. Unless they've put themselves in those shoes for five minutes. Hope that made sense to you. And that you will continue to get help and support through MSE. I don't know anything about SOA's, apart from them being the obvious. But others here do and can help with that.
I like Starbursts as well but not had any for a long time. Anyway, welcome.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.
