    :eek: Rob: think you're right if that's the only thing you're getting on prescription.
    Glucosomine off the list of drugs that doctors can prescribe and are telling patients to buy their own.

    Lolly: That wouldn't surprise me, think the medical jury is still out as to any proven benefit in taking it.

    Here's a question for you all. It's supposed to take a few months to see any marked improvement - have you? I'm still waiting.

    when i started it took 2 months, then i ran out and forgot to buy some, and within days my knees were worse, within a fortnight of taking them again the knees settled down....

    since then i have moved on to glucosamine/chondroitin

    i suggested the glucosamine to my MIL and she also swears by them....

    what dosage are you taking daily?
