i have found out next one is 10th march. does anyone know if the 10% dsicount is valid online?

On most 10% days they will give you 20% if you work for one of the emergency services

We got 20% off when we bought our kitchen as the guy kindly put us through the till as being a fireman!

thanks for the replies. wonder is discount of 20% applies to armed forces? hubbie is in army. we will be buying nursery furniture online but might get paint in store.

I'd recommend that you look around for paint. The 10% discount is good if Homebase are the only people that sell what you need, but they are the most expensive of the DIY chains. My husband spends thousands each year and even with the 10% discount, he says they're still expensive.

The best for a wide range of paint is Focus -they often have 'bogof' or '3 for 2' offers and you can get a 'homemover card' that entitles you to a 10% for a year if you've moved within the last six months. You just have to take a tenancy agreement or your completion statement from your solicitor.
