I don't agree. I have made some nice pocket money from surveys and have had more Amazon vouchers than you can shake a stick at. Yes, they take time to fill in, but I tend to fill them in whilst the dinner is cooking so I don't mind.

Totally aree with u, I do my in the evening, I've had some gd combacks from survey sites and review sites inc
£50 Amazon voucher + £50 virgin voucher from Qype, the cash sites, the money from that I use to pay for dd swimming lessons, tap and ballet lessons - shes goes once a week for them, + on average once a yr new costumes when shes had her growth spurt, in 2 years I only had to put £30 towards it all.

I seem to be getting roughly the same number of surveys but for lower rewards, which in the current climate makes perfect sense, seem to be going through a boom on VO though, but given their cycles of busy not busy I'll enjoy it while it lasts. Lightspeed seems pretty slow for me at the moment though.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I seem to be completing fewer surveys at present, and some - Toluna, for example, seem to be for fewer points than used to be awarded.

Libra10, dont know if u noticed with Toluna, that only a very small % of the polls are sponsered, so it looks like its going to take for ever to get a voucher x

    1. Well that's your opinion. Obviously others may disagree, they wouldn't do it if there wasn't something in it for them
(cant get rid of that stupid 1 above)
Which is proof that surveys are fundamentally a waste of time.

Agreed. I even ditch a lot of them when pushed for time. Certainly happy enough to get the vouchers I get from doing the ones I choose to do.
Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...

I agree with the OP. I am getting a lot less surveys since the recession bit. Notably Its Your View which claims to pay £1 for every 5 minutes and YouGov have both been sending less requests to do surveys.

Also Valued Opinions surveys are getting longer for the same reward. Some other survey sites like Brainjuicer have just disappeared.

I keep a record of my paid (both cash and vouchers) earnings from doing surveys. Up until this time in 2008 I had earned £125. For the same period this year I have been paid £75.
Still its worth doing as every little helps!

Brainjuicer has actually closed, they sent emails around saying that if u had £5.00 u could claim an amazon voucher anything less then £5 you lost the money.
