Help needed with cataloge

I was stupid and let my sister pay my cataloge, but she didn't pay it for a while, so was behind by £258, this was with NDR they sent a letter saying this needed paying by 17h of Feb. We rang and paid it on said date. However they said payment accepted thanks. However i notice the payment hadn't left my bank acc i left it a week to make sure it wasn't coming out. When i rang again they said it was showing i had paid, however i asked them to put through the payment again. Which they did again saying accepted. However still nothing left my acc. I did this 4 times in total still no money from acc taken. When i rang them again to say the money still hadn't left my acc, the woman informed me that i had defaulted and it was moving on to some one else now. Now i have no idea how to pay the money is it going to court? I paid the amonut due, but due to some error their end it never went through. Should i penalised for this?
What can i do? Any help gratefully received

As a rule defaults are not removed once regsitered but you need to make a formal complaint about this, listing your actions and the dates they failed to take the payments you requested.

That should lead them to sort it out.
