Most Flexible Mortgage Providers?

Hi,

My partner and I are very keen to move house, and we have now found the home we want. We have got a ten per cent deposit available and won't have any problems with legal or other costs. The problem is that my girlfriend has not yet started her new job (she is a student and starts her new teaching job in July) and mortgage providers are so far telling us it's an issue we can't get past. They say they are concerned we won't be able to pay the mortgage on just my salary for the first few months. However, that will not be a problem either. Has anyone been in a similar situation before, and how did they get round it? Which mortgage providers are more likely to take the risk? Waiting til July is an option, but not a great one.

many thanks in advance!
