Win ratio - regular compers?

I have only really just started doing regular competitions. Just wondering for those people who seem to win several competitions a month, how many do you actually enter?

What would guess your win ratio is? Are you selective about which comps you go for and just enter all that you can?

I worked out that my win ratio is around 1/500 but mostly little things x

I started back in last May but used to only enter comps I was interested in.

Then had a break when I moved house and started again when everything was sorted. For the past month or so I have decided to do almost everyone for that day except the holidays or tickets ones. unless its for something Id really like.

I have won 3 prizes in the last 3 weeks (one a week) since doing that. So the more you enter the more you win. Still wating for a biggy though

i actually started noting how many comps i entered and its about 400-450 a week and i average a win a week
well apart from last month but was in hosp so didnt enter so many

Have not got a clue!! Enter as many as I can, always end up with a few wins each Month. It varies how many I enter as to how busy I am. But usually a lot!

I started in December. I have no clue how many comps I enter but it's a LOT. I do an hour at lunchtime and then 10-15 mins here and there at night (when the kids are off the machine) I enter for whatever takes my fancy but at the moment don't enter for Spa breaks, romantic holidays for 2 *sigh* that sort of thing as just don't have the time to get away if I win but I do enter for family hols, games for me and the kids - specific things that we would love but can't afford like a Wii or games for their DS etc. I do daily specific searches in case I missed a comp (like Wii, Nintendo, Laptop etc)

Since Dec I've also won around 1 a week or 4/5 a month. Mostly small like books and chocs but did win £250 on a Smooth radio comp in Jan - that was one where you have to put a reason why you want the prize - I seem to do ok on those

Definitely the more you enter the more chance you have.

hmm at the moment my ratio seems to be about 1/500

Mine seems to be around 1 in 500. I win a couple of prizes a week on average. x

Does it really matter what the win ratio is?

You could be entering 300 a week and not get a win for months or you might just get lucky after entering 3 a week.

Its no good entering comps in the thinking you'll be getting lots of wins because at the end of the day its just down to luck. You just have to treat it as a hobby and take the rough with the smooth:D

If you want to increase your chances then do postal comps as not so many people enter those due to the postage cost.

Only enter for things you or family realy want and then every win is a bonus.

There's no real ratio, as Elver man just pointed out. If you enter 100 comps, then you could potentially win 100, or 0 or anything in between.

My wins seem to come in fits and starts. I've had a good couple of days after not winning for a while. I enter as many as I can. Some days it could be 250 others 20, depending on the time I have or if I get bored of it quickly!

I enter approximately 1200 - 1500 comps a month.

Wins vary month to month, there really doesn't seem to be a pattern to it.

The more you enter, the better your chances of winning.
