unfortunately i dont have much sympathy for your OH. He must have known the CSA would have got him with the arrears at some point.

Basically he should be man enough to deal with his arrears!

Plenty of NRP's on this board being hammered left right an centre by unfair DEO's and we just have to get on with it.

Was e moaning all the time he never paid the CSA, i doubt he would have been

Sorry if you think this message a bit harsh, but truth hurts

Markeymark- my original post stated "don't get me started on how sick that makes me feel, but he's getting the brunt of that from me, so won't pour it all out here". I agree with you, but like I said, that's not for here, except to say that it's not just him who's got to be "man enough"- I have too when I lose my house due to lack of rent! Having said which, I don't believe anybody should get away with not paying for their children (as my father did!), so don't feel your sentiments are "harsh" at all.

Sensemaya- The solicitor he is due to see is a legal advisor from the union to which he belongs, entitling him to free advice.

pd001- many thanks for your advice regarding dealing with the csa in writing. I'll pass on to OH (have had to cancel broadband at home due to lack of funds, so he can't access this site).
