How long does Music Magpie usually take to pay out after they have received your CD's?

I sent my CD's over 1 month ago now and I have heard nothing from them. I have checked the order status on their website and it says "completed" but i have actually heard nothing.

When my DH sent our old mobile phones to envirofone we had an email then cheque in just over a week!

Any advice greatly appreciated.

They don't pay that much, and can take a bit of time to complete everything, but they are totally trustworthy, and a good place to declutter cds that you have had for ages, don't want any more, and make a bit of money in the process.

For the CD's i don't listen to anymore, any money is better than no money!

What CDs did you send and how much did you get?

All the CD's I've ever entered on there they only want to pay me between 1p - 6p!!! I must listen to some carp :rotfl:

I had a number of CD's from the late 80's - they don't take CD singles, only albums. I sent off 21...and they were really old and got £15 for them.

The most they will pay for 1 CD is £3, most of mine went for about 50p each although i did have an old double album go for £3.

The older rarer ones get the higher money. So those old ones gathering dust are more likely to get you more than the newer ones.

Newer chart CD's get next to nothing cos there are so many of them about.

Getting really irritated now. It's been nearly 3 weeks and I've heard nothing. My order is just showing as pending.

I sold the cds because I could really do with the money (£75) and I expected them to be quicker than this. I do trust that the money will arrive eventually but I really need it now!

Mine took about a month from sending them off to the receipt of the cheque.
So hopefully any day now. You must have sent off a lot to get £75!:eek:

Ive done three orders with them totalling over £100 - each of them has arrived between 3 and 5 weeks after the date of posting. They do respond well to a gentle reminder email as well.
