Cheap guesthouse in Edinburgh centre...

Planning a trip over at the end of April/beginning of May for 3 nights & everywhere seems quite expensive :eek: , anyone know of any cheap hidden gems...

    What kind of price are you looking for?
    Friends have recommended a B&B that's quite central:

    But probably the cheapest are the Travelodges - there's several around Edinburgh, and if you're a bit flexible about dates, you can get some real bargains. Saturday nights are usually dear, so if you miss them out it does help.

    Thanks, pricewise just looking to save as much as possible so as to have more spending money... I'm staying thur 30th apr - sun 3rd may & with it being a bank holiday weekend the prices for fri & sat just seem to skyrocket....:(

    Edinburgh is expensive for accommodatino year-round unless you get lucky with Travelodge.

    However, the public transport is very good, so you can stay somewhere outwith the centre and travel in by bus easily.

    Have you tried the following hotel search engines? I'm sure if you Google the names you'll find the sites and you can punch in your dates from there
