i wonder if there is a website which lets you know whats on at theatres ..i live in south wales and can only travel to theatres not 2 far away..thanks

Depending what kind of theatre you're after you can try some of these:

or local council sites should have info on the theatre listings, being near newport have you looked at the Riverfront website: http://www.newport.gov.uk/riverfront
Also if you're prepared to tavel to cardiff theres the ususal http://www.wmc.org.uk / http://www.newtheatrecardiff.co.uk / http://www.shermancymru.co.uk/

Also Newport Uni and Royal Welsh College in Cardiff have great theatre depts you could check out their sites. Depending where you want to travel Rhondda Cynon Taff have a really good theatre life too they have info on their council website.

Overall I tend to use council websites as many theatres are run by them to find general thatre listings, Usk / Newport / Torefan / Monouth / Powys (espesh Theatre Brycheiniog) councils may have something too? I only use specific sites for dance etc if i'm looking to see a particular company.
