Should I anticipate any problems with my mortgage?

I am applying for a FTB mortgage with Halifax through a broker. It is on a 40 year term for around £80,000, and my income after tax is around £1300 per month. The mortgage payments would be around £360 a month.

They agreed me in principal several weeks ago, my broker met me just over 2 weeks ago and put the full application through. I'm just getting impatient as I haven't heard much news yet. They asked a few questions about my bank statements last Friday so it's been almost another week, apparently it's now with their 'business assessors'. One question was why were there several payments to and from my parents over the months, which was because they were helping me with rent as I was saving up a deposit. I hope this poses no problems-it shouldn't do as it's my parents not a creditor etc.

I have no debts or loans. My bank account is usually slightly in an overdraft but I assume this is normal for most people-I'm around £500-£700 into it but have a limit of £4,500 so stay well away. Seeing as my rent etc is around £800 a month now, I would soon come out that overdraft anyway with vastly reduced monthly outgoings.

I'm getting incredibly anxious about this and can't stand waiting any longer...do you see any reason why they could possibly turn round and reject the application? I can't, but they're just taking so long. I'm sure they can see I can easily afford the repayments. I just feel for some stupid reason they'll reject it. This is only fuelled by the fact that the company I had to go through first, to be approved to go on the first time buyer initiative, were horrendous to deal with and rejected the application 3 times due to stupid reasons until they finally accepted it.
