Google Street View has been launched for the UK. Belfast is one of the cities covered, but in fact they've gone quite far outside the city too - most of Lisburn, Hollywood and Islandmagee are covered. It's interesting - but also a bit freaky!

Yeah noticed that earlier today, found my own house & zoomed in through the front window...... creepy!!!!!!!!! :eek:

Yeah i found my house as well, definitely from the summertime but just after i got the hedge cut luckily

Our house is on it too and it was last Aug as we got a new staircase & doors fitted and the joiners van is outside lol. Its very strange tho being able to see your house like that!

I saw the "Google Car" driving around Newtownstewart (In Tyrone between Omagh & Strabane, for those who haven't ventured west of the Bann) on Tuesday, Yeah I know working on St. Patricks day!!.

Obviously they are planning to map the whole country.

Certainly is a bit freaky!!

got to see all the old dives i lived in as a student- some of them have managed to get in double glazing in, in just 15 years- how luxurious lol

We're usually 10 years behind the rest of the country here, so will no doubt be a while before they embark on a trip to here!
