HSBC loan

Hello I am new to this board and wonder if anyone else has had problems with HSBC debt?
I was with them for 24 years and was an A* customer (in their words) but now they wont accept my repayment offer for my loan with them and phone me every day asking for the arrears.
I tell them I am with CCCS and am offering all I can but they still ring and ask the same question, "will you be paying the arrears today?" I have had a phone call almost every day since October. I have stopped answering the calls recently as it seems pointless talking to them and now get three missed calls a day mostly while I am at work.
Is there anything I can do, I have tried writing and asking them to stop calling and just deal by post and suggest a compromise but they still call and send me standard default letters suggesting I go to CCCS!!!!
Sorry to rant on

Hi sally,
I have just started a DMP with Payplan (2 months ago) and HSBC are my only creditors who will not accept the DMP. I have a cc and an overdraft and they will only accept a reduce payment if it is still ablve 2% of the balance - This is more thatn my whole DMP payment and only £15 short of the contractual amount.
It's like banging your head against a brick wall. Not sure that they will ever accept it and Payplan have advised me that they will just sell on my debt to a DCA and hopefully they will accept it.
On the plus side, they only call me once a month the hassle about arrears !
Sorry, I can't be more positive.0
