Hi everyone
hope you're all well, I've not had time to read through all your posts yet, I think its going to take a while but I hope all your debt free goals are going to plan!
I came back yesterday to loads of post with charges being put on everywhere & was feeling really depressed but....
today I had a letter from the DLA to say that my sons been awarded higher rate care & lower rate mobility disability living allowance which means that my tax credits will go up & I'll have more money to put towards my DMP!
so the DMP won't be going on for 20 years now :j
I'm so happy, I needed some good news & its going to make such a difference to my sons life.
just wanted to share the good news!

Hi Ozzy
So pleased for you and your family DLA makes such a difference, to be
awarded the top rate care is like winning the lottery, at least it felt like that
when we were awarded it.

Glad to hear someone else has had good news.......
..had a letter today and apparently a company I've got some shares (which I forgot about) are going to be taken over so at worst that's another £200 or at best that's another £400 to throw at the debt, depending on how many shares I've got.

It's great to hear people's good news. Maybe we should have a regular good news thread?
Hearing others' good news really helps me stick to my guns on paying my debts off as fast as I can... because I can imagine what that good news feels like and it makes me even more determined to get there even quicker!
Bring on the good news!
(I don't actually have any...! but as soon as i do i'll let you know!)
